About the Opportunity

The Project Manager will be responsible for end-to-end delivery of multi-disciplinary projects that drive science and technology outcomes.

 

The Project / Senior Project Manager role sits within the Project Management Office function. The function is responsible for the strategic infrastructure planning, oversight of project management and for the delivery of large, complex, multidisciplinary, strategic programs and projects, requiring ANSTO Executive stakeholder involvement and regulatory interaction.

Your Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning and execution of projects from initiation to completion using project management frameworks
  • Conduct regular meetings with the project team and other stakeholders 
  • Track project plans, schedules and costs against established deliverables and deadlines
  • Pro-actively identify and manage interdependencies, risks and issues, and drive resolutions
  • Prepare and analyse reports for and presentations to key stakeholders
  • Effectively manage procurement and contract negotiation and execution
