  • $72.6k - $81.5k FTE +15.4% super, paid pro-rata for 22 hours per week (0.6 FTE)

About the Opportunity

 

The Administration and Events Officer is a varied and exciting role that is responsible for planning and delivering student focused events at some of Australia's world class scientific facilities. Working within AINSE's Communications and Events team, this position will collaborate closely with University students receiving support from the organisation, academics, and scientific staff as part of our long standing association with ANSTO. We offer a flexible schedule, allowing hours to be spread across multiple days (at least 3 days per week), depending on the successful candidate's preference and business needs. 

Your Duties and Responsibilities

 

  • Coordinate administration for internal and external events, including planning and successful implementation of scheduled programs;
  • Public speaking (to host events) for both online and in-person events;
  • Outreach activities for both online and in-person events such as attending university open days and conference booths;
  • Provide general administrative support for staff and key stakeholders;
  • Provide opportunities to connect with visiting students;
  • Develop and source appropriate merchandise;
  • Provide support to other areas of the business as required.
