About the Opportunity
The Events and Administration Officer is a varied and exciting role that is responsible for planning and delivering student focused events at some of Australia's world class scientific facilities. Working within AINSE’s Communications and Events team, this position will collaborate closely with University students receiving support from the organisation, academics, and scientific staff as part of our long standing association with ANSTO (the Australian Nuclear Science and Technology Organisation).

- Experience in event coordination, including tracking budgets and operating within strict deadlines.
- Demonstrated interest science or technology or engineering.
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment.
- Proven time management and organisational skills, including ability to plan, schedule and prioritise multiple tasks/projects with a high level of detail.
- Demonstrated proficiency in using computer software programs, including Microsoft Office
- A commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and working effectively in a team.
Your Duties and Responsibilities
- Coordinate internal and external events, including logistics and successful implementation of scheduled programs.
- Develop and source appropriate merchandise;
- Provide general administrative support for staff and key stakeholders.
