About the Opportunity

The Consultant Health Physicist is part of a growing team of radiation professionals operating in the field, working on a wide range of commercial projects.

The Radiation and Nuclear Waste Services (R&WNS) business provides external clients with a wide range of consulting, project management and delivery services to the market.  The successful candidate will collaborate with business enablers, clients, suppliers and specialists to deliver outstanding project results.

About You

Field Experience: Working at client sites, supporting project delivery, and has experience with client engagement. Experience with equipment disposals, loading various transport packages, & the handling industrial gauges is highly desirable

Radiation: Radiation protection principles, survey & clearance, packaging and transport, source licencing & regulatory applications.  

Safety & Systems: SWEMS development, chemical and workplace safety standards, and Project Management 

 

Your Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support the develop and support relationships with clients, ANSTO Enablers, stakeholders, contractors, and suppliers to ensure optional financial and client outcomes are achieved.
  • Support the development of compelling client proposals for clients, by ensuring that projects costs and project methodologies and accurate and align to business requirements
  • Support the development and implementation of project objectives, plans, budgets, targets, and activities in collaboration with clients, ANSTO enablers, suppliers and contractors
  • Working with line management on reprioritisation of work tasks to make best use of scarce resources and maximise financial return
  • Support the development of client, supplier, and contractor relationships to achieve optimal financial and operations performance.
  • Support all aspects of R&NWS field or site operations, programs, teams, and resources to align with project budget constraints and ensure successful financial performance.
