An opportunity is available to join ANSTO's Nuclear Forensics team and be part of delivering capabilites to domestic and international nuclear security stakeholders.

Your Duties and Responsibilities
One role is available; the level of the position offered will be comensurate to skills and experience. Please indicate in your application if you are interested in both or only one of the available levels.
Senior Nuclear Forensic Scientist: Band 5
- Delivery Nuclear Forensics projects and capability requirements through the utilisation of knowledge, skills and experience in chemistry, radiochemistry, nuclear science and/or forensic science.
- Perform applied research, undertake analysis, interpretation and client reporting, and propose and implement new capabilities.
- Develop relationships and collaborations with local, national and international stakeholders to deliver capability outcomes.

Nuclear Forensic Specialist: Band 6
- Apply project management skills to deliver Nuclear Forensics projects and capability requirements.
- Deliver on capability improvements in collaboration with national and international scientists and stakeholders in the area of national security and nuclear forensic science.
- Apply discipline knowledge to ensure that the processes and practices used by the Nuclear Forensics capability area consistent with relevant national and international guidelines.
