About the Opportunity
The Technicians participate in and support the effective and efficient day-to-day operation of the manufacturing facilities within Nuclear Medicine. Technicians are responsible for a range of activities that support Nuclear Medicine manufacturing such as transfer of materials/equipment, preparation of components, intermediate and starting materials used in production, housekeeping, clean room cleaning/sanitation and waste handling. The position focuses on supporting manufacturing reliability and participates with improvements in safety, quality, performance and culture in accordance with compliance obligations and the expectations of our business, teams and customers.

Your Duties and Responsibilities

Support Manufacturing Operations: Assist in the day-to-day production of radiopharmaceuticals by preparing materials, and performing clean-room sanitation and waste handling in compliance with GMP and regulatory standards.

Maintain Accurate Documentation: Complete and maintain manufacturing records, incident reports, and compliance documentation in line with TGA, ARPANSA, ASNO, and quality system requirements.

Perform Facility Tasks: Carry out tasks such as assisting in transferring targets from the OPAL reactor, and cleaning GMP and radiologically classified areas.

Contribute to Continuous Improvement: Participate in projects aimed at improving safety, quality, and performance, validation support, and procedural updates.

Collaborate and Train: Work effectively within a team, share knowledge, support new staff, and foster a strong safety culture across the site.
